Hi, I'm
Debs Thorpe

As for a bit more about me, I can describe myself in many ways:

A partner, wife, step-mum, dog-mum, daughter, business owner, entrepreneur, coach, counsellor, therapist, medicine woman...

Nature lover, adventurer, runner, writer...

You can check out my blog for the accolades and challenges I have accrued so far...

But this only tells part of the story of me...

I have been nearly bankrupt, suffered burnout, been through a divorce, had to close a business I co-founded, had my confidence and self esteem shattered by narcissists...

Maybe not a typical intro..?

Living in a cycle of 'on fire' one minute, only to come crashing down the next was exhausting, but unbeknownst to me, it was caused by a deeply rooted trauma response which meant I lived out a rollercoaster until I healed, unlearned the patterns and learnt what it was to operate from a place of loving wholeness.

It is my desire to share this journey with you along with the tools and techniques that have helped me navigate the desire for a WholeHearted Life, finally breaking free and living true to myself.

I'm thrilled you're here and I hope we connect soon...

My Journey

I was always one of those inquisitive kids—constantly asking "why" and spending hours observing the world around me. Little did I know, this curiosity was priming me for a lifelong journey into understanding human behavior and the motivations behind our thoughts and actions.

At just 17, I embarked on my training as a counsellor, breaking convention by becoming the youngest qualified counsellor in the U.K. at 22. This marked the beginning of a fulfilling career that spanned various organisations, including the NSPCC, Relate, and Dartmoor Prison, where I led innovative training initiatives and conducted vital research.

My experience as a research admin assistant at the University of Exeter provided me with invaluable opportunities to collaborate with the Met Office and emerging start-ups, further deepening my understanding of the intersection between research and real-world application.

At 24, I took a bold step by founding my own business, pioneering a person-centered approach to well-being—an approach that was quite rare at the time. Starting from scratch, I built this company into a respected entity, earning multiple accolades, including Young Entrepreneur of the Year, while leading a team that consistently delivered 5-star service.

Throughout my journey, I remained committed to continuous education, researching the mind-body connection and exploring what true well-being means in practice. This passion has culminated in the creation of the WholeHearted Living Institute, where I aspire to empower individuals with effective, evidence-based tools for enhancing their well-being. I believe that success can harmoniously align with authenticity, integrity, and wellness, and I am dedicated to helping others discover this.

Multi-Passionate=True Success

For a long time when entering the online world, I believed the way I operated was 'wrong'. After all, you are constantly told to niche down, focus on one thing, become the 'go-to expert' in your signature offering.

And I tried doing this. I really did. I invested thousands in coaches and programs detailing this approach.

And well, it just never sat well or worked.

It wasn't until I embraced being a multi-passionate, multi-faceted entrepreneur, that everything started to 'click' into place.

And do you know the best part? I started working with clients who were similar. Who actually needed to be all of themselves to truly ignite their life, well-being and success.

For me, everything is based around my expertise in wellness and personal development, as well as my 20+ years of personal learning and growth, and my core values of authenticity, integrity and freedom. I pour all of this into:

*WholeHearted Living Institute through my Podcast, Courses, Resources, Retreats, Coaching

*Walking My Talk showing a WholeHearted Life in Action through my YouTube Channel and Blog

*Sharing my lessons and adventures as I create a new life in Italy through the Expat Living in Italy YouTube Channel.

So if this resonates with you...

Know you are not alone, and I am here to support you in your journey to embracing your fullness.
